American Idol Update : Haley Scarnato Ousted

Haley Scarnato has been voted out of the American Idol Season 6. The 24-year-old Texas native received the lowest number of votes on the April 11 edition of the popular U.S. televised talent show. Phil Stacey and Chris Richardson were the other two to be on the bottom.

Haley Scarnato, who sang "Turn The Beat Around", failed to get enough votes for staying backin the competition but captured the audience with her sexy pair of long legs. She was dressed in shorts and was looking stunning as usual. Simon Cowell commented,

I think you have a very good tactic at the moment Haley: wear the least amount of clothes as possible. Because, look I'll be honest with you, you can't do well in this competition based on your voice because there are much better singers.

Scarnato seemed to be a little upset with these reactions. According to her, she was wearing shorts and didn't feel it was going to be distracting. She told the reporters,

Definitely if I was still going to be here next week I was going to wear a choir robe!

Anyways, now that Haley's gone, the Sanjaya Malakar phenomenon continues and the internet gambling sites have already made Phil Stacey the favorite to be eliminated next week.

Haley Scarnato, 24 year old participant for the American Idol Season 6 from San Antonio, Texas is the latest internet buzz. According to a Hitwise report on 21st March - 2007, Haley is ahead of the other idol participants when it comes for internet search volume. She is often considered to be among the last three and the most probable participant to get eliminated along with Sanjaya Malakar, who is a close second to her according to the search volume analytics. Both Sanjaya and Haley, however, have made it to the final ten.

Another exit has taken place in the American Idol Season 6. But surprisingly it's not Sanjaya Malakar or Haley Scarnato or Phil Stacey...who are considered to be the bottom three. Rather the one to make sad unexpected exit was Stephanie Edwards, when she was voted out this week. The 19-year-old Idol contestant from Savannah, Georgia sang Dusty Springfield's "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me".

Simon Cowell commented that Stephanie Edwards' rendition of the song lacked the edginess and youthful energy that she brought to her previous performances. This departure has further narrowed the number of Idol contestant to the last 10.
