The finalists of American Idol Sixth Season was reduced to eleven when Brandon Rogers was voted out during Wednesday night's live results show. After the (in)famous Antonella Barba it was the turn of the 28yrs old from North Hollywood, CA to leave. Rogers was the first to perform on Tuesday night's Idol telecast where he sang "You Can't Hurry Love." Brandon, however, did mess things up a little when he forgot several of the song's lyrics.
I just feel blessed to be here, I have no hard feelings. I kind of expected it. I forgot my words... a cardinal sin for American Idol.
-Rogers said when host Ryan Seacrest revealed he was eliminated.
So that has brought the American Idol contestants to the last top 11. And they are Melinda Doolittle, Chris Sligh, Gina Glocksen, Sanjaya Malakar, Haley Scarnato, Phil Stacey, Lakisha Jones, Blake Lewis, Stephanie Edwards, Chris Richardson and Jordin Sparks. All of them will perform live on Tuesday, March 20 beginning at 8PM ET on Fox. Then on Wednesday, March 21 at 9PM ET, Idol will air its second finals live results show, narrowing the field of finalists to 10.
